What's to Come on Jobs4Divers

It may not look like much today, but eventually Jobs4Divers.com will be the Internet’s most-advanced diving jobs search site on the Internet. Designers and programmers in three countries are working to make it a great source of jobs and employees for the recreational, technical and commercial diving industries.

What you see here today is a limited demonstration of the site, with more features and functionality to be added shortly. So what can you expect by the time we’re done? Well, here’s a few of the highlights:

Your Profile, CV and Cover Letters

• Your Profile – When registering, you’ll create an online profile of your background and personal interests. Upload up to 3 photos to add to your profile.
• Multiple CVs – Create an online profile and text-based CV or upload your own preformatted CVs in Word, Acrobat or other formats.
• Multiple Cover Letters – Use the built-in rich-text editor to create and save multiple cover letters and upload your own preformatted letters in Word, Acrobat and other formats.

Search Jobs and Employers

• Quick & Advanced Search – Do a quick search using keywords and region, or choose the Advanced Search to search by job title, region, country, minimum salary, and certifying agency.
• Recommended Jobs – Don’t just search, let Jobs4Divers find the jobs for you! Our system matches job preferences from your profile against employer profiles and recommends the best job matches for you automatically.
• Favorites – Find a job or employer you like and want to save for later? Simply click the Save to Favorites button and the employer or job saves to your control panel.
• Saved Searches – Find yourself running the same searches repeatedly? You can save any advanced search and run it again later with one click.

Applications and Communications

• Application Tracking – Never sit, wait and wonder what’s happening to your application again! Jobs4Divers lets you see whether the employer read, saved or (gulp) deleted your application.
• Private Messaging – Send a Private Message to an employer or any Jobs4Divers member (depending on the recipient’s preferences). Save and organize your messages in your control panel and even send Internet e-mail to users willing to receive it.
